Very Happy to Offer!
2012 Tignanello
SALE $85 bottle

95 Points Antonio Galloni

“The 2012 Tignanello is deep, rich and voluptuous, yet also retains a distinct element of classicism in its focused, mid-weight structure. Dark red cherry, pomegranate, kirsch, spice, tobacco and menthol open up in the glass, but only reluctantly. Firm veins of tannin and pulsating acidity give the wine its sense of energy and verticality. The 2012 is a Tignanello built on pure finesse and grace. I would not open a bottle before its tenth birthday, if at all possible.”
NEW! The first vintage in which the Marchese Antinori comes exclusively from the Antinori family’s Tignanello estate.

2011 Antinori-Tenuta Tignanello
Chianti Classico Riserva Marchese Antinori
$45 bottle

92 Points Antonio Galloni

“The 2011 Chianti Classico Riserva Marchese Antinori has really come together beautifully over the least year. Creamy and expressive on the palate, but without being as exotic as some of Antinori's other 2011s, the Marchese hits all the right notes, with fabulous depth, dark tonalities of Sangiovese and exceptional balance. Hints of leather, cedar, smoke and tobacco meld into the racy, succulent finish.”
2009 Antinori Badia a Passignano
Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG
$45 bottle

92 Points Antonio Galloni

“The estate's 2009 Chianti Classico Riserva Badia a Passignano bursts from the glass with expressive dark cherries, plums, flowers and cloves. The Badia a Passignano is 100% Sangiovese. Hints of tobacco, leather and cedar add further nuances on the soft, resonant finish. Over the last few years, the Badia a Passignano has been one of the most improved wines in the Antinori range.”
