Subject:Ā šŸA little gem to ease into Fall ~ Brovia Barbera Sori del DragošŸ

ā€œIā€™ve said it before and Iā€™m ready to say it again, Brovia is the new Giacosa. Brovia, like Giacosa, is making wines from some of the best sites in Piedmont. Brovia, also like Giacosa, has achieved a certain level of finesse and, much like Giacosa, Brovia has worked hard to retain a sapid red fruitiness to their wines.ā€ ā€” Gregory dal Piaz
Since 1863, Brovia has been a family-run estate making classically styled Piedmontese wines. The Brovias are extremely conscientious winegrowers and farm organically in every sense of that word. The wines are truly magical and since we first tasted them in 1995, we have continued to be devoted followers. This exceptional 2016 Barbera is a great introduction if you have never experienced this estate ~ and the price is right!

The wine is bright and focused with a lively personality. 100% Steel-aged, it is all about freshness but with plenty of supple layers and depth to ensure years of wonderful drinking.
