This is reserved to the point of being all but mute though aggressive swirling finally pries loose discreet notes of pepper, sauvage and dark berry fruit scents. There is excellent density to the concentrated medium weight flavors as the old vine sap definitely adds a sense of volume, particularly on the robust, serious and rustic finish that delivers excellent depth and length. Thanks to the abundant sap this could be drunk now with enjoyment though I would suggest waiting for more complexity to develop.”
