2005 Domaine Darviot-Perrin Volnay Santenots Premier Cru $750 6pack
Situated immediately above Clos des Chenes. 50-year-old vines. 94 Points WIne Spectator "This has an extra dimension. Shows great purity, with saturated flavors of cherry, violet, licorice and baking spices. Dense and concentrated, with acidity and tannins to match its fruit. Everything is in the right proportion, just needs time. The finish is long and vivid. Best from 2012 through 2028. 10 cases imported."
