5th generation Burgundian winemaker, Dominique Lucas moved to this region on the south shore of Lake Geneva to make wines without strict oversight of the AOC. The new guru of the Savoie, Lucas has become deeply committed to the local Chasselas varietal, producing wines of depth and complexity. His unconventional vinification methods include barrels, concrete eggs, amphorae and his invention of a concrete pyramid.
With ample cut and a sublime balance of fruit and minerals, all wrapped up in a package that is as clean, textured, and compelling as anything, this wine offers pure drinking pleasure.
