This 340h-estate is nestled in the wooded foothills of the Provencal Tableland, an hour's drive from both the beaches of the Riviera and the ski slopes of the Alps. Its 12th Century stone bastide dates back to the Knights Templar – a simple yet massive style like that of nearby Thoronet Abbey, one of the jewels of Cistercian architecture. Most of the sheltered 42h vineyard is 400m above sea level which helps grapes cool down at night and preserves their vibrant acidity.
