Subject: D2000 Safety | July Online Forklift Training

JULY ONLINE
FORKLIFT TRAINING!
In case you missed last month's virtual Forklift Train the Trainer class, we are hosting another class July 28th. Enrollment is limited to 10 students, so enroll today!

July 28, 2020

This online course is designed to provide experienced forklift operators with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to deliver effective initial and refresher training to your employees. It stresses the practical application of safe operating principles, load characteristics, and workplace hazards. The curriculum reflects all the training requirements listed in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178.

All students will receive a fully-scripted Leader’s Guide, sample student materials, and a variety of checklists and forms needed to train and certify your location’s forklift operators shipped to them approximately one week prior to the class.

Who has right of way - pedestrian safety or forklift safety?
Pedestrian safety and forklift safety go hand and hand. Many people feel that pedestrians have right of way since they would, most likely, suffer severe injury if there was a collision. But does pedestrian safety mean they have right of way? Does that mean they can step out in front of a loaded, moving forklift and expect that the forklift operator will be able to stop in time just because they have right of way? Doesn’t make much sense does it.

Upcoming Safety Classes
