| RESCUE TEAM LEADER CLASS AND THE CMC CLUTCH

| Students in our Confined Space Rescue Team Leader class (May 3-7, Sahuarita, Arizona) learn that a descender (like the Petzl I'D or CMC Clutch) is essential for mainline raising and lowering operations. The ability to grab and release rope under control (when lowering) and then act as a pulley (when raising) provides teams with an effective tool to conduct technical rope operations.
For decades, the Petzl I'D has been one of the most common descenders and we have used it extensively in class. But there are several others out there as well. In addition to the MPD, CMC Rescue recently introduced the Clutch. In our upcoming Confined Space Rescue Team Leader class, we will test this device (and others) so students can determine if the additional cost it provides a substantial benefit to their team.

Announcing New Program: Rescue Refresher Modules |
| D2000 Rescue has developed a series "Rescue Refresher Modules" which consists of six modules focusing on various aspects of team operations. The series is designed to support the refresher training needs of technical rescue teams. Since the modules cover basic information, anyone who serves as a rescue team leader should be able to deliver these modules.

This online course is designed to provide experienced forklift operators with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to deliver effective initial and refresher training to your employees. It stresses the practical application of safe operating principles, load characteristics, and workplace hazards. The curriculum reflects all the training requirements listed in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178.
All students will receive a fully-scripted Leader’s Guide, sample student materials, and a variety of checklists and forms needed to train and certify your location’s forklift operators shipped to them approximately one week prior to the class.
