Subject: What'd you do for cardio minutes last week?

Hi Friend!

Happy Monday to you!

Gosh isn't it great and weird to have humidity in October?  I'll take it.  I like wearing shorts, so as long as I can wear them the better.  :-)

Today we did full court basketball ladder drills as part of our conditioning and I found it ironic that there were a bunch of basketball kids and parents on the stage watching while our change makers were getting their work in.  I'm not sure what the kids thought while they watched or if they even had any thoughts about what was happening below them, but what I thought was there were a bunch of kids of all ages, sizes and gender running around having fun getting in game shape or rather life shape.  If I was the parent watching, I'd be jealous that those parents already got their workout in.  How come I didn't know about it and how can I join them.  If I was those kids, I might have thought, look at those old people running sprints.  They're fast, strong and have a lot of endurance. I think I can still beat them 1-on-1.  I wonder why my parents aren't out there getting better too?

So those are my perceptions.  Right or wrong.  On target or off.  Either way it looked super cool and the 9am change makers efforts looked awesome.  Kudos to them.

If you didn't train this morning, can you find a way to train tonight (6:30pm @ MC)?  You'll jump start your week and be glad you did!
