Subject: What'd you do for Cardio Minutes & Challenge Workouts last week?

Hi Friend!

Great Monday to you!

Yesterday was the Alves Family reunion and as always it was awesome and so much fun.  Those events really fill up my tank and I'm grateful for them.  Vivi and Vanessa are in the middle.  Vivi's wearing her kitty sweater aka her 2nd outfit since we arrived and I'm on the far right after having run around the pool to get in the photo.  This is our 11th AFR, started after the sudden passing of our oldest uncle Tio Tony.  It has become a huge way to connect with the familia as our families have grown and people have moved out of the bubble know as the big City, little Lisbon and the Lud (as in Ludlow).

Per usual we played tons of sports, shared lots of good food and drink and had a great time.  I crushed my 7 year old cousin in basketball and his dad asked me if I was enjoying myself, to which I replied yes.  His son was my best friend the rest of the day.

In any event, big week.  1st week of October.  New quarter, new phase, lots of changes and familiarities.  Columbus Day Weekend is coming up.  We have a regular schedule on Monday, so if you're traveling this weekend, consider a getaway workout Thursday night or Friday morning and a rip the band aid off workout, Monday night.
