Subject: Weekly Recap - 2017, P4, Week 3

Gorgeous Monday to you, Friend!

What a couple of days we've had, huh!  Gorgeous day yesterday, Full, yellow-tinted moon this morning and another gorgeous day today.  Spring sure feels good doesn't it?

How was your weekend?
The Alves family stayed local.  We practiced hurdle jumps over folded napkins and place mats and agility ladders over the same.  Vivi did pretty good for a 2year 8month old.  She can jump over the hurdles and she can do 2 feet in the "box" at a time.  She's gotta work on her landings and frontal plane movements.  ;-).  Daddy Pony, that's me, and Vivi Bunny had PR's at the playground.  I did one of those gymnastic forward tucks where your legs go over your head and past it, until you're upside down looking at the ground?  Full circle for me.  Next time, I'll try reversing the direction.  Vivi climbed up this steel bar half circle all by herself and basically walked this ladder by herself, though I was there to spot her on both apparatus' if she fell.  Not to be outdone, Vanessa finished her 3rd workout on her new card and told me it was "tough", but based on her high energy the rest of the day, I'd say it was a perfect challenge for her.  So that was us.  You?

Survey - Static Stretch @ Beginning
Since every workout is a new experience, please share your feedback each time on what's like to stretch at the beginning of the workout.  The easiest place to share it is on the survey because it consolidates it all for me, however, whatever is easiest for you, text, email, survey, call or in person is welcome.

Private Measurements & Nutrition Discussion

Nutrition Discussion:  1:30-2:45p, Sat, April 15 @ MC
FYI:  These are coming up w/ RSVP's going out Th @ 1pm.

Phase 5:  April 24 - May 13
This will be part of a 6 week stretch, that has no empowerment week separating it from phase 6.  You should go into summer with a tremendous amount of momentum.  Keep practicing your nutrition habits, buy your swimsuit, book a trip, do something to provide extra motivation and get going.  We'll introduce hurdle jumps both linear and lateral, so make sure you can get to 90 degrees on your landing and stick it, to be able to progress.  We'll also be testing the stretch at the end for contrast.

Thank you!
...for seeing it through.  Q2 has seen the return to stations and the introduction of new equipment.  It was a change for all of us and even though we modified the demonstrations to keep the pace fast, it still had some hiccups.  I think all can agree that the pace was pretty awesome Th / F of last week and today and that's where we're heading.  So thank you for believing.

Burn & Earn!

Mike

p.s.  what'd you do for minutes last week?
