Subject: Save The Dates! 10 Year Anniversary Celebrations!

Hi Friend!


Happy rain gear day to you!


Saturday, I met with Pete, Christine, Julie and Marisa and one thing that Julie mentioned was that I should paint a picture of my 10 year anniversary plans, vs. just giving the dates without context, and I thought it was a great idea so here goes.


10 Year Anniversary Celebration Objectives.
1.  Celebrate 10 years of being in business.
2.  Celebrate you for choosing us and me.
3.  Grow the business so we can keep celebrating.


1.  Celebrating 10 years of being in business
This one's pretty obvious and a very proud moment for me.  I knew very little about business when I started and I definitely know more now, so I feel pretty good inside to have made it this far, so far.



2.  Celebrating you for choosing us and me.
A party is a great way to celebrate, but like Gronk, Yo Soy Fiesta, so why not make a year long celebration so we can celebrate not only this achievement of being in business 10 years, but more importantly you for choosing us and me, which allowed me to be in business 10 years.  


Adult Night
I'm thinking we have an adult night, party / dinner, so everyone can get dressed up (hot) and see what we all look like when we're presenting our best self vs. our gym clothes self.  


Family Pot Luck Picnic
I'm also thinking that since none of us achieves great things by ourselves, that we have a family, pot luck picnic, so we can bring our closest people who provide support and inspiration to make change happen.  I know my little bunny would love to picnic and play with all the other little people. 


Events
And since we all share a common love for self-care and exercise, why not do some more bonding around that on a weekend, when members from the different class times could all attend and intermingle. 


I'm thinking 5 different get togethers.  Two workouts in which I teach you a dope a** program that you'll do for multiple weeks on your own, with buddies and/or with me and then 3 different events you could choose to participate in or be at to hang with your fellow awesome people, that the training programs would help to peak you for.  


Two Cardio Plans
Think about that.  We haven't really done that.  We track measurements every 4 weeks, and we track data every workout, but we haven't trained for an event together as a whole.  Every body in CYBBC has a cardio minutes goal, and way back when you joined you got an interval training cardio plan, but imagine learning a new cardio plan with your peers, training it in some combination of on your own, with your peers and/or with me, and have it prepare you for an event that you could do that would be fun, challenging and bonding.  



I don't know about you, but I sure do better when I have purpose to my workouts vs. going through the motions and when I attach events to my workouts, it provides that deadline and accountability that helps me to bring better effort and practice better habits, so I not only show up to my workouts, but give more effort in them.


5K Runs & Spartan Sprints
I'm thinking a 5K run in June, an August, Spartan Sprint in Charlton, MA (an obstacle course, 5K run) and a September, Spartan Sprint field trip to Killington, VT (obstacle course, 5K run with elevation changes).  




3.  Grow the Business So We Can Keep Celebrating
We already have guest days and guest weeks and if you forgot or missed the memo, in 2019, the 1st 2 weeks of every phase aka the teaching weeks in which we provide demos, are the guest weeks, that you could invite a buddy.  Gregor, Emily, Madeline, Sonya and Margaret have already invited guests so far this year, so thank you.  



In addition to that, the board, suggested an open house, so I'm thinking a fall workout in which we can bring our people, do a recipe pot luck and maybe have different vendors in attendance.  That's a newer idea, that I haven't chosen a date for yet, so if you want to help paint that picture, please let me know.

7-8:30a.m. learn 10-12 week cardio training plan to get faster, leaner and recover better
7-10p.m.  adult party

Saturday, June 15, 2019
a.m. 5K race or learn 6-13 week Spartan Sprint Training Plan*
10:30am-4:30p.m.?  family pot luck picnic
?if we do 5K run, we'll start Spartan training the following Saturday, June 22 in a.m.?
?if we do Spartan training on 6/15, then we may do 5K run on Sun, 6/9 or skip 5K run altogether?

everything we do in bc helps prepare you for spartan sprints, so you could potentially show up without training and do o.k., however, I find it fun, to "train" for events, so having a plan and a deadline and buddies makes this extra special.  plus sprints events are a lower time commitments.



Sunday, September 14, 2019
same idea as the Charlton, but in a different location with elevation changes and with more training and stadium runs and grip work under your belt.

*along the way, there would be meet ups for stadium runs and climbing workouts
