Subject: RSVP Now for PM & ND, Plus GD Reminder!

Gosh Friend.  I can't believe how some things can just come from out of nowhere and take up prime real estate in your mind, specifically the snow.  Snow this, snow that, I don't know about you, but it's competing with other high priority, "A#1" tasks, that are equally important, like wishing change maker Jessica P a happy birthday (happy birthday Jessica!).  I mean, for me it feels like I'm training for an event.  I have to plan everything even more thoughtfully than, I normally have to and I plan a lot.

Example.  When's it going to snow next.  How much?  How long?  What kind of snow?  What day?  Am I coaching?  Am I on daddy duty?  Is Vanessa home?  When's the best time to shovel?  How long can I shovel?  Should I time my nutrition before so I can have peak energy?  What about timing my sleep and strength & conditioning workouts?  Is it possible to prime my body by taking advantage of the post activation potentiation of a strength workout (think baseball players swinging heavy bats before going up to bat) before hand or is that unrealistic or too much for one day?  How does my body feel?  Do I need to warm up before I shovel?  What am I going to eat after?  How long did I clear snow?  How does my body feel?  What does it need?  Do I need a post workout shake or bar or just a post workout meal or both?  Do I need to roll after and do some corrective exercises to help myself recover?  How about contrast showers to speed up recovery?  Can I fit a quick power nap or should I go to be earlier to enhance recovery?  Gosh, I wonder what's harder, child care with a teething baby or shoveling snow?  .... Where do I fit real work in?

So as you can see, these are just some of the quick & thoughtful decisions I'm having to make with all the snow on my mind.  Are you having any similar one's or one's I didn't mention?

Nutrition Discussion
1:30-3pm, Sat, Feb 14, 2015 @ MC
It's been real challenging to do all the right things with so much white stuff around.  How can you be more mindful and do less while just managing the day to day, until you can build momentum and smash through barriers?  Hands down, the people who consistently lose weight and maintain their weight are doing the same things over and over again and one of those things are adding legumes to most every meal.  They're a magic pill for weight loss and weight maintenance because of the fiber, carbohydrates and protein that's packed in these little super foods.  If you just want to win and ensure you'll look great more often and longer, add these to your daily meals.  You can figure out later how to dress them up and make them more sexy or you can RSVP Now by replying to this email, to confirm your attendance to Saturdays ND.  You'll get a custom meal plan based around your goals, your lifestyle and foods you like.  Plus you can learn how myself and others in the program have been adding legumes to our meals to provide insurance to our success.  And if you want to learn how & why chocolate milk or hot chocolate is a great post workout recovery drink after shoveling snow or any other muscularly demanding workout and if it's a right fit for you right now at your present transformation stage, I can answer that question for you then.
