Hi Friend!
Happy Thursday to you!
This week has been / is record week and as such we've been setting a lot of PR's (personal records) in class. I love setting PR's don't you. That small and sometimes big piece of evidence that you got better. I mean. Who wants to get worse? Nobody. This week, I hope if you've been training with us, your workout card is covered w/ *'s (stars), PR's, :-), some sort of flare, so you know you had a special day. We've got tonight and tomorrow for you to get your last BC workouts in before PM (private measurements) on Sat. Schedule it. Peak for it. Show up early and get it done (well)! You'll be glad you did.
P12, Private Measurements 7-9am, Sat, Oct 24 @ MC. You're not just managing the results of your efforts, you're tracking your progress towards becoming a better person, friend, family member, citizen, American, human and Earthling. Anyone can slack off, not try and avoid discomfort, but not you. You do things, not only for yourself, but also to contribute to the greater good. Do you really think you'll regret being thoughtful with your sleep and nutrition during the week; scheduling, showing up and giving your best efforts in your self-care activities and always presenting and representing yourself as a best case member of the different groups bigger than you. The answer is no. You won't regret it. Sign up to track your progress. RSVP Now!
P12 Nutrition Discussion 1:30-3pm, Sat, Oct 24 @ MC You're busy, I'm busy, most everybody is busy. Do what successful people do and eat the same things over and over again (not in the literal sense). It's the easiest way to ensure you're on track to presenting yourself and representing your people in best case ways while not letting down your fellow Earthlings who are counting on you. Reply to this email to RSVP for the Nutrition Discussion. Then print out & bring the Nutrition Workbook and a pen.
Cheers and wishing you a great Challenge Workout #1!
Your fellow Earthling,
Mike Alves
p.s. I listened to Ed Thomas, a professor, talk about different motivators and he mentioned that people can achieve greater things when they do things that are bigger than his/her self (e.g. family, friends, community, city, state, country, continent, world, universe, God...). So I took a shot. Hopefully you feel motivated.. I do!
p.p.s. RSVP Now for Private Measurements!
p.p.p.s. Reply to this email to RSVP for the ND!
