Hi Friend!




It can be both. It doesn't have to be either or.




It can be both a fresh start and you can have momentum.



You can be at a dead stop, spinning your wheels or even going in the wrong direction and then all of a sudden, you decide and take action and then, it's a fresh start. Just like that. You thought it, you decided and you did something about it. A fresh start can be anytime you choose.



And you can have momentum too. You can be on a roll, getting stuff done, checking things off, winning, and then you can decide in a moment that you want a fresh start and that's different or complimentary and then you do it. Just like that.




We're 3 weeks into our new training year, our new quarter and our 1st phase. Maybe you've hit the ground running, you're knocking down workouts, working towards your goal and you're feeling momentum. Maybe you're moving forward, getting in some workouts, missing a couple here and there, but in general you're feeling the momentum, you're feeling optimistic. And then maybe you're missing more than you're attending, or you haven't made any, well, as my Tio Dennis would say, "it is what it is". So what. That's yesterday's news. That's yesterday's story. Tomorrow, today, right now, this second, is new. It's fresh. You can start over. You can do like Ana from Frozen, "the next right thing" and then do the next right thing again, and again and again. When life happens, deal with it and move forward. Keep going. You know how the other way plays out and it's old news. Let's go forward to the exciting, possibility of best case. Because of all the reasons you know in your heart and your head.




Cardio Minutes - Week 3

Again we did 24min / workout. Rest up. Stretch, roll, move, nap, rest, hydrate, laugh, have fun, get caught up, and prepare for a great week of training.




Weekend Workout (WW)

7:30-9a, Sat, Jan 29

So...first informal invitation out to Devens? We can ice skate, walk around the 'hood or explore Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge.




Record Week / Last Week / Week 4

This coming week is the last week of the phase. That went fast, just like the workouts. Since this past week, we did the full workout, it was an easy PR. Next week, will be a little more challenging. The easiest way to get a PR if that's a goal for you, is to show up rested, hydrated, nourished and loose. It's possible to get PR's without those and showing up, regardless of your state, helps you move forward and win the day, so lots of ways to frame and optimize your self-care.
