Subject: Cardio Minutes, Empowerment Weeks and Bonus Week

Hi Friend!

Blue sky Tuesday to you!

Week 3's, record week is off to a fast start, as expected, and I must tell you, its so cool and inspiring to have a front row seat to the collective athletic qualities and efforts you've developed and possess.  I told Vanessa, I wish I could film the whole workouts so you could watch and see for yourselves and so I could send it to your parents so they could watch, be proud and brag about their kids.  Kudos to you.  Keep going!

Cardio Minutes - Week 3
You earned 23 minutes per workout and 69 for 3 days.  If I start on time and do a great job coaching and managing the clock this week, there's a mathematical chance we could do an extra round of conditioning, which would bump the minutes up to 26 or 27.  The extra minutes is nice, but the extra conditioning and bragging rights are better.  Which class will be the one to get 2 rounds of conditioning?  Hmm?

Empowerment Week
Next week is empowerment week.  Saturday is Measurements, Orientation & Nutrition.

I've been working on my business planning, much like I did 10 years ago when I launched the business, to refine it and get re-inspired for the next 10 years.  Vanessa asked me if I wanted to ask her what she thought because she had some ideas and so of course, I wanted to know, and she said, I should add back some empowerment weeks since Vivi is in school and many people would prefer to have more continuous training without the weeks away.  So after feeling sick about what I was losing for a week, I've made peace with it and I'm determining which and how many to add back.  Currently I'm between adding back 6 to 8 weeks and keeping 5 to 7 empowerment weeks.

One concern I have is how to deal with days I can't make up (snow days, facility conflicts, sick days, deaths, ...), if there are fewer empowerment weeks and more continuous training?

If you have feedback, please share.

3 to 2:  Bonus Week
The last 2 years we've had a 3 week break at the end of the year, but the majority of our members feel like it's too much time away, so in order to add back a week, I'll need to reserve gym space for the week and you'll need to pre-pay for an additional week, since this extra week wasn't already build into your membership.

The week bonus week will be:  Dec 17 to Dec 22.  You need to sign up in advance for this if you want it.  If there's not enough interest, then it won't happen.  The rate will be $90 for 4 days, $72 for 3 days and $53 for 2 days.   You can pre-pay here.

We return for year 11 on Mon, Jan 7, 2019.

There will be lots of exciting change and growth to look forward to in the coming decade because if we want to do more, we'll need to become more.  And as we become more together, well ..., it'll be a lot more fun for everyone, because we'll have forged deep bonds, built through sweat and effort and consistency, and we'll raise and present our best self to the world in levels and ways we haven't experienced in a long time or ever.  And this well earned best self, will be present, mindful and grounded because we choose to be, while having great capacity to produce and achieve and enjoy at rates we feel good about and are admired by all.  Cheers to our future!
