Gosh, don't you just appreciate the rain? Think of all the benefits: - you don't have to shovel it or snow blow it (sorry Paula)
- you don't have to water the grass
- you can collect it to water your plants
- you can say New England is home to Rain Forests and has rainy seasons too!
- you can stomp in lots and lots of puddles
- you get to wear strawberry rain suits
- you don't have to worry about droughts
- you get to enjoy the beauty of plants and trees
- you get to confirm you're not going to melt and you're not made of sugar
- you get to say, "F' it, I'm already wet"
- you don't have to cut the grass or do yard work as often (sorry Paula)
- you can spend more time @ boot camp (win-win!)
- you get to wear gray as your base color, with lots of spring color pops
- you get FREE, exfoliating mud baths!
- you don't have to wash your car as often
I mean, it's pretty great. Plus you get to test out all your rain gear to make sure its up to snuff.
Pot Luck Picnic & Event Training Speaking of rain, I'm not planning any rain dates for our pot luck picnic or our events and event training. If it rains it rains, though for our pot luck picnic we would have overhead coverage if we're on George's Island and if we're not there we'll have the Mackenzie Center as a back up.
We're officially 1-month from the 6/15 pot luck picnic date and 2.5 weeks from the 6/1, 5K race. I'm going to text and email and call you near every day (until you let me know if you're in or you're out on the survey. Kidding. Mostly.)
So, please let me know if you even want or care about these events. If you do, I'll find a way to make them happen.
