Gorgeous Saturday to you!
I hope you’re feeling as awesome from a week of kicking butt as I am for you. I’m feeling real hopeful and encouraged because of your collective efforts in training this week and your collective progress overall. You’re really starting to hit your stride as a group and get it. You’re continuing to move better, you’re working harder and you’re recovering quicker. Look at how everyone is understanding and responding to “head pushed back, chin tuck, ribs down and butt tucked” cues; or how they’re sprinting between exercises from 1 side to the other. Look how hard everyone was running during the base running, pushing the pace during the 2min rounds on Th / F or how your work capacities have increased enough to do the full court triathlon relay. Push Ups are progressing too and grip strength on pull ups is improving as well.
This is going to be a great year and if
you’re like me you know what your priorities are and health is #1,
relationships #2 and generating certificates of appreciation is #3. Training falls under the health priority and is your “sharpening the saw” physical activity as Stephen Covey would put it. It’s only a small portion of your weekly 168 hours, but it has the most impact on everything else, well actually in conjunction with sleep and nutrition. Next week is our week 3 aka progression week aka record week. I wish you a recharged battery this weekend and a great start to your Monday.
This week’s agenda:
• Cardio Minutes • Nutrition Discussion / Grocery Shopping Tour • Nutrition Tip • Weekly Themes • Phase 3 Workouts • Guest Day • Post Measurements • Ask Mike • Facebook • Family Boot Camp • Coming Events • Shout Outs
