A message from the Chairman of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum

I would like to take a few moments of your time to ask for your support to help “Keep us Flying” as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary.

In normal times, we fund our museum through special events, catering, educational programs, retail, flight operations, memberships, admissions, and donations. Due to the pandemic and associated closures, we have been unable to conduct many of these activities. We have also been challenged by the increasing costs of aircraft maintenance, restoration, and fuel, which total over $500,000 annually. We know that the experience of visiting our museum and hearing and seeing these extraordinary historical military aircraft in the air, as well as being able to fly in them, contributes to our continued success as “Canada’s Flying Museum.”

We really need and appreciate your support. As a donor, your contribution to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is an investment in a real Canadian success story. However, we still have a great deal yet to accomplish, including the return of our Firefly to the skies and the first flight of our Avenger. you can be an important part of this worthy endeavour. Your donation is tax deductible and we will be sure to send you a charitable donation receipt with a letter of appreciation.

I hope you will join us in this important task as we continue to take visitors of all ages on a journey of learning that includes some of the finest stories from Canada’s rich military aviation heritage.

Yours truly,

David G. Rohrer CD
