| A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Where did the summer go? I hope that the old adage was true for you all – that time flew because you were having fun. As the temperature slowly gets lower, days get shorter, and we settle back into our regular routines, I pray that the promise of new goals and opportunities have you excited and engaged. And as God answers this prayer, we at ASI Columbia Union hope to expand your excitement and engagement with upcoming events that will further propel our chapter on its path to higher impact in our Union. We ask you to take note of the following initiatives: - Please remember those affected by Hurricane Dorian with your prayers and donations. To increase your impact, go to adra.org where your emergency gift will be doubled.
- Plan to attend our next networking event at 6 p.m. Oct. 24, at the home office of Nova HomeWorks, 2290 Shaw Road Sterling, VA 20166. This will allow us to reconnect with current members and meet new and prospective members. Hope to see you there.
- The ASI Columbia Union Spring Convention will be held April 24-25, 2020, at the Living Hope SDA Church, 5235 Merchants View Square,
Haymarket, VA 20169. The theme will be “Lord, Give Us This Mountain” and we will be blessed to have Pastor Mark Finley and Pastor Richard Martin as our main speakers. The weekend will include exciting and engaging workshops. We are looking forward to an uplifting and empowering experience!
I once again thank you all for being a part of this journey. I believe that God has so much more in store for us as we represent Him in the marketplace. I don’t know about you, but I feel the momentum building as He prepares us for the grand finale of the coming of the Lord. Let’s stay on board, we are too close to fall back now. Yes, this is an exciting time! As always, I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event or speaking with you soon. Blessings. Your fellow servant, |
