Last quarter of 2020âŚI am sure we are all really looking forward to 2021! We are in the home stretch together.
There are lots of exciting holidays coming, but I want to encourage you to not lose sight of your goals and health in the midst of the parties, traditions and celebrations.
My best advice to stay diligent during the last quarter of the year is this: PLAN AHEAD.
-Plan out your morning routine the night before (gratitude practice, drink that first glass of water, move your body, read, spend a few minutes in quiet).
-Plan out what meals you will prepare and/or eat at home and what meals you will allow yourself to eat out and indulge. Plan out your week or two days at a time so you know what you are fueling your body with.
-Plan out exactly when and how you are going to move your body each day. Write the plan down and make it happen!
-Plan out your 10-30 minutes of quiet, alone time so you can give more of yourself to others. Donât skimp on yourself.
-Plan to control only what you can control!
It is true that we have very little control over our life, but the few things we can control are very important and make this life AMAZING! Things like what we consume, how we treat our body, and how we share our energy can bring us joy. The more planning you can do, the more control you will have over the things you can control!
