To get a head start on your path to building and thriving during the next few months here are a few tips to help you and your team soar…
1. Starve your distraction to get more traction.
2. Focus on the outcome, not the obstacle.
3. Attitude is everything so kick limiting beliefs to the curb! Stay pumped. Dress for success. Act as if. It's the little things like having an engaging smile or an upbeat personality that creates a magnetic attraction. This is bound to make most people feel really good when they are in your presence. It doesn’t take much to be that person with good vibes and a smile. This one thing alone increases your likability factor.
4. Be famous. Everywhere you go from the dry cleaners to your favorite food spot, the corner store, the gas station, your kid’s soccer game and beyond… introduce yourself so that everyone knows you (and you know them by their first name). Start making new connections to grow your network of lifetime customers and friends. People prefer to do business with people who they know, like and trust.
5. Go beyond your comfort zone. Go above what is expected and your team (family/kids/boss) will be inspired. Set the pace for your team and big things will happen. Talk faster, walk faster. Lead by example. Have you ever seen people standing in line all day and night outside of an Apple store so they can be among the first to buy the new iPhone? Remind your team that they won’t win by being last. When you set the achievement bar high others will begin to keep pace with you in order to follow in your footsteps.
