"What you focus on grows, what you think about expands, and what you dwell upon determines your destiny," is a quote by Robin Sharma that resonates with some of the things you may have heard me talk about. I'm mentioning it because almost half of the year has passed and you may want to review the things you've been focusing on.
At the beginning of 2017 did you set any personal improvement or professional goals? Do you even recall what your New Year's Resolution was? If you fell short on your intentions you're not alone because according to research conducted by the University of Scranton only 8% of people achieve their New Year's goals. Wait for a second, before you throw in the towel there's still time to join the 8 percenters and get the ball rolling to achieve your goals this year. The critical thing is to have goals that are specific. I do a Tuesday Facebook LIVE video chat each week at 12:30, Pacific Time to provide inspiration and helpful suggestions for things you can do as well as give up for a specified amount of time to help you live your best life. The first day of summer is right around the corner and so is Father's Day on Sunday, June 18th and it's a great time to show your appreciation for your father or someone who has been a father figure in your life. Here's a short poem with heartfelt sentiments about fathers.

I tend to do things in a more unusual way and notice the unexpected as well. One of the things I noticed early in my use of Calibr8 and Circul8 was that I was able to tolerate the blood donation process with fewer "side effects." I have donated 24 pints of blood over the course of 40+ years, and I have almost always had difficulty due to low blood pressure, etc. So I can do the donation part just fine, but it would take me as long as an hour to get back upright without getting lightheaded. When I donated just prior to starting with the above products, I required drinking fluids while donating, being lowered from semi-reclined to flat, having a fan on me, and breathing into a paper bag just to recover. When I donated in December, I did not have to lie down until the very end and was able to get up to sitting and stay there the first time. When I donated on Tuesday, not only was my hemoglobin up a full point but; I was able to stay upright for all but the sample vial time, and again, got right up. In fact, it was my shortest donation time ever...45 minutes versus 1.5 hours in the past.
The
other thing I have been doing since I got the Reson8 medallion is
infusing the energy into the water I used to start seeds and then to
start the seedlings in my Tower Garden. I was able to harvest baby kale
and cilantro only 5 weeks out from seed. The Holy Basil is also ready to
start harvesting. That’s a very fast turnaround. My peace lily is
blooming for the first time since 2009. I also placed one of the
medallions on the top of the tower when I was not using it for demo
purposes.
Add
that to the fact that I can sit in a yoga position, and with knees to my
chest, as well as flat palm the floor at almost 63 years old with
"genetic" bad knees. At age 48 I started rollerblading because it hurt
my knees too much to walk on the concrete trails. Now I love hiking and
my knees actually like hills better than flat surfaces.
I noticed right away with the Reson8 that it seemed to reduce the potential for bruising, like when I placed it over the impacted area at the time it happened. I had an incident when the wind blew the car door into me and caused my shin to hit the door frame. This could have caused a nasty bruise. However, it never fully came to fruition, there was only the smallest mark where the bruise might have been. I even used it on the bruise from the needle stick at the Red Cross yesterday and it appeared to help reduce it as well. All that in addition to helping to improve water and my coffee taste better.
