When did August become the new September? For many, August is Back to School Month. When I was a kid we started school in September after enjoying the Labor Day weekend.
Even if you don’t have kids who are going back to school this the perfect time to turn your attention to how you’ll get the most out of the remaining five months that are left in 2016.
I'm a lifelong learner and big fan of personal development and a couple of weeks ago I met one of my favorite authors, Mark Victor Hansen when he visited the Clar8ty office with is wife Crystal. You may know him because he co-authored the Chicken Soup for the Soul series with Jack Canfield. Together they made publishing history by selling 100 million books. Mark autographed one of my Chicken Soup for the Soul Books and gifted me a CD of Earl Nightingale's classic "The Strangest Secret for Succeeding in the World Today." Tracy Mafi - Married 24 years and mother of 2 teenagers
"I’ve been a court reporter for 18 years and two years ago I started having shoulder and wrist pain and my doctor said I was a surgical candidate. Last summer I started having extreme pain and there were small hard ganglion cysts that I could feel in the finger joint areas. My middle finger was completely locked/stiff. I was not sleeping through the night because my arms would either go numb or my wrists would be throbbing.
I was at the point where I was missing a lot of work and starting to worry that I was either going to be out for an extended period time for surgery or maybe even need a career change.

This was an amazing weekend retreat! One of the many transformational moments happened when Chris Neville worked with us one-on-one because part of the session included him playing the Didgeridoo. If you aren't familiar with the Didgeridoo this musical instrument is a natural wooden trumpet or "drone pipe” and it’s one of the oldest musical instruments, originating in the world's oldest continuous living culture: the indigenous Aborigines of northern Australia. The directed sounds act like sonic acupuncture, a powerful private experience for all attendees.
