A New Decade, A New You!
It is HERE. RIGHT NOW. We are taking the first steps into the next decade of our lives. My wish for you is that this next decade brings you health, fulfillment and joy.
As fun as it is to look at the big picture and how much can happen in ten years, let’s narrow our focus to this year. Together, we all have 365 days, 8,760 hours, 525,600 minutes and 31,536,000 seconds to inspire change and become better versions of ourselves. I encourage you to take each day as a new opportunity full of choices. Every choice we make is part of this equation that gets us to our long-term goals.
Start big. What do you see yourself doing, being, and looking like in ten years when this decade comes to a close?
Keeping these big goals in mind, what do you see yourself doing, being and looking like at the end of 2020 as part of the path to get there?
Now, take those dreams for this year, write them down, and break it down even smaller.
What choices can I make every single day, hour, minute and second to get there?
Maybe it’s as simple as drinking a gallon of water per day. Maybe it’s writing down the five things I am grateful every day. Maybe it’s reaching out to a loved one and reconnecting once a week or once a month. Maybe it’s walking the dog for 30 minutes a day without any music or distractions.
One of my goals for 2020 is to be more mindful of my inner voice. This voice inside my head talks A LOT. My goal is to quiet this voice and focus it on positive mantras. For me, 2020 is wrapped up in these words from the very best, Brian Tracy, “I am Unstoppable”. That’s it. Simple as that. My one choice every single day is to repeat this and live by this. I know that if I do this every day of 2020, I will achieve my goals for this year and be one step closer to my goals for this decade.
We have big plans and dreams for Clar8ty, and I am so thankful to be on this journey with you all.
