Whatever your wellness goals are for 2022 it starts with good nutrition. Especially if your goals involves a change in your mental or physical activity.

Below are a series of wellness tips to help you improve the benefits you're receiving from your diet. CHALLENGE YOURSELF to make a change for a better YOU in 2022!

DRINK WATER
Water is important for every cell in the body to function properly. The digestive system functions better with adequate hydration, preventing constipation. Recommended daily water intake:

  • 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men.

  • About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women.

DON'T SKIP BREAKFAST
Breakfast is the first meal of the day, so skipping it is an absolute no-no. Your body needs to fuel up and prepare for the day ahead, so instead of skipping breakfast, it must be one of the most nutritious meals you consume in the day.

One of TRIN8TY's  key ingredient is Broccoli Sprouts (Sulforaphane – proprietary process).

This helps activate a potent epigenetic switch that promotes beneficial activity of Nrf2, QR, Glutathione Peroxidase (GPx) and other crucial enzymes for Detoxification and cellular defense, as well as help suppress NF-kb, a regulator of inflammation.

EAT SLOWLY & MINDFULLY

It takes about 20 minutes for your brain to send out signals that you are full so take your time. Eat mindfully which means being fully attentive to your food — as you buy, prepare, serve, and consume it.

CUT DOWN ON SATURATED FATS & SUGAR

Eating lots of saturated fat can raise your cholesterol and increase your risk of heart disease. So cut back on these wherever you can.

Helpful Shopping Tip: Pay attention to the nutrition labels on the front and back of packaging. Look out for "saturates" or "sat fat" on the label.

EAT YOUR VEGGIES

Vegetables are full of essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that provide many important health benefits to your body. A number of studies suggest that a diet rich in cruciferous vegetables (like broccoli and cabbage) may lower rates of a variety of cancers, including breast, pancreatic, bladder, lung, prostate and colon cancer. Certain enzymes in cruciferous veggies can help protect cell DNA from damage, and others have antioxidant properties.

As you plan how to improve your health in 2022. remember BE KIND TO YOURSELF. Start with small improvements in your diet that you know you can stick to all year!
