I'm sitting outdoors at one of my favorite local cafes and one of the cafe managers just passed by. Then he stopped, hand on a door, and turned to me.

"Is that book 3 you're working on?"

Feeling just a tad guilty, I said, "No, but I start my planning tomorrow. I'll be writing it in November."

He smiled. "You have now officially entered onto the list of authors who I'm waiting for their next book, impatiently."

"Oh, my! You have made my day!" I told him tearing up.

"Now, get writing."

I smiled. "Yes, sir!"

==> And this is why we write. To have our next book be anticipated by our readers! To change someone's life, if even for a few hours.
