On the Darkest Day of the Year...

December 21, 2020
Oakland, CA

Hi Friend,
On the darkest day of the year... in the Northern Hemisphere...

The longest night and the shortest day -- the Winter Solstice...

May you hold hope in your heart and stay the course, for after this point the days get longer, bit by bit.

This a perfect time to dream the new year into being.

Questions for reflection:
  • What would you like to create for your author career in 2021?
  • What seeds can you plant in the spring?
  • What do you need to let go of, so that you have space to create?
I'll be taking the next two weeks to deepen into my creative cave and make strides in editing the third novel in my Janey McCallister Mystery series, Gone Green -- on preorder now

I've also cleared much of my schedule for January to stay focused on my edits.

I had planned to ramp up my networking, but realized recently that all my Zoom networking was taking away from the core work of editing my novel.

My goal is to finish my edits by the end of January, so that I can hand off the book to my critique partners and beta readers.

Wish me luck! And bon courage!

Updates

I won't be sending my weekly Creativity Sparks newsletter until January 8 because of the holidays, but will be sending the weekly writing sprint reminders for Wednesdays and Sundays.

If you do not want to receive sprint reminders, let me know and I can take you off those reminders.

If you want Google Calendar reminders for the sprints, send me your best email for that, and I'll add you to those reminders.

Have a happy and creative week! And Happy Holidays!

All my best,

Beth
