Hi Friend,

Nanowrimo (Nano for short) has started. What is in your heart to work on? Hit reply and let me know.

It's a great time to focus in whatever is next and do that step. Then wake up the next day and do that.

You may feel overwhelmed when you think of the whole book, but if you just think about tomorrow's work, that can be manageable. You don't need to worry about the end result in a month's time, or further. You just need to show up for yourself and your work today and today and today.

That's how I manage editing my 4-book series. :)

As I mentioned in previous messages, I'm a Nanowrimo rebel and will be editing a novel (Book 2 in my Janey McCallister Space Station Mystery series), and, will be dabbling on a TV script about the continuing adventures of Henrietta The Dragon Slayer and her friends.

If you're thinking about writing your novel during Nanowrimo, and you'd like to be in a community of like-minded writers, I recommend checking out all the Nanowrimo site and your Nano local community has to offer.

For those who are new to the global phenomenonNanowrimo is National Novel Writing Month, where people aim to write 50,000 words in the month of November. A free non-profit guides you every step of the way.
