“I really do firmly believe that if you just put your work out there, you can get eyeballs on it, which is the hardest part. Eventually, they're gonna read it.” - Edie Cay
I met the writers of this historical fiction book marketing collective last year around this time at the Bay Area Book Festival.
And I got to see them again last weekend at this year's book festival!
It was so inspiring to see them talking to readers, networking, and supporting each other.
Finally, I got the chance recently to interview them, and the result is a 3-part series.
The second part dropped this week - enjoy!
In “Episode 44. Paper Lantern Writers, A Book Marketing Collective, Part 2,” I chat with the founding members of the Paper Lantern Writers Collective — Ana Brazil, Edie Cay, and Linda Ulleseit.
In Part 2, we talked about discuss making money, challenges of running the collective, and the diversity within its members.
