Hi Friend,
Once upon a time there was a young woman who wanted to write novels, but she didn't know where to begin.
Over many years she dabbled writing half tales that went nowhere, but she didn't give up.
One day, in the face of a great defeat, she realized she'd need to let go of empty ambition and pursue what was in her heart. Now was the time for her to start writing her novel and learn how to finish it. So she started on her path with focus and commitment.

Fast forward seventeen years, and this woman has now become an award-winning published novelist, writes to high critical acclaim in two genres, and helps other novelist gain confidence, finish their novels, and get comfortable with marketing their books, and publish.
Yes, that's me.
I know the meaning of persistence in the face of confusion and overwhelm.
I've been up and I've been down. I have traveled the path from idea to completion many times now. I've self-published 11 of my own books, and help clients self-publish their own. I've enacted several different kinds of marketing campaigns and, as a result, gotten book reviews, awards, and sales.
I am confident I can help others do the same. I know because I've done so -- over 90% of my clients finish their novels. And everyone I've worked with finds their way into marketing activities and systems that work for them, as long as they don't give up.

I share all of this with you because I feel that my business as a writing coach for novelists is in transition. It feels like low tide and things will flow again soon.
