Tonight I met two young women who thanked me for writing about strong women heroines. I was so touched. The work we do as novelists has meaning and impact on the lives of countless others. Our stories matter.

Once upon a time, there was a writer who dabbled in writing her novel, but couldn't never get past the first few paragraphs. She struggled with her ideas, but didn't know where to go with them. One day she discovered a way to grow her story idea from a seedling into something grander, more robust, by laying the groundwork, setting up lattices, and enriching the soil of her imagination.

She is me, as you may have guessed. The method I used is the one I developed for the October 2015 Plan Your Novel course, and used to write and publish my last 5 romances. (And developed by writing 4 novels before that, 2 of which I've published.)
