This webinar is especially for those who have finished their first draft and are ready to start editing their novel with an eye on publishing their book in the next year or two.

Because editing isn't just an intellectual exercise, I will do one live editing demo in the training.

Here's how you can get live help and immediate support at the training on your story.

Since most writers learn by doing, including me, one of the ways I help writers is through live editing sessions in our mastermind program and in our 1-1 premium sessions.

During live edits, we look at language, voice, sentence structure, voice, story purpose, and more.

As I edit, I share my motivation for each choice, so the writers see editing in action and understand their options.

Get Live Feedback

If you'd like to get that kind of feedback, I have time to do one live edit for our training.

If you'd like to be the one who gets the live edit, and can be at the training, please send me your paragraph as an attachment by Sunday, Jan. 28, 9pm PT. (Convert to your time zone .)

I will pick one person ahead of time.

If we have time, I will do more.

Be sure to include your paragraph as a MS Word attachment in the following specifications.

Format specifications

Please make sure your attachment is:

MS Word .doc or .docx;
12 pt font;
Times New Roman font;
1-inch margins;
no more than 50 words
as-is; your first or early draft; come as you are!

As I said, I'll choose one person among those who send me one paragraph that is no more that 50 words and ideally from the start of your book.

If we have time, I will do a few more live edits at the end of the webinar for those who are present.

I'll also announce a special invite in the training, so please do come and join us live.

If you send me your paragraph, please know that your work will be on screen, recorded, and shared with those who registered. It will be available to them as a replay, and remain under your copyright. I only have the right to share it in my marketing, a non-exclusive right.
