One of my cats has his wild face on. He wants to attack his brother but his brother is cozy on my lap.
Okay, whew, that's the extent of the drama in my life right now, and I'm grateful for that.
Why? Because I'm revising a novel and that takes a lot of focus and a calm life so I can make the hard decisions for the best story I can create and make the drama sing on the page.
This finishing phase of writing a novel is for me the hardest but the most satisfying because I'm heading toward publication. And that's one of the reasons I do this marathon work. (The other reason is I need to create story for my sanity.)
So when my friend Rhonda invited me to participate in her Book Finishers Summit I jumped at the chance.
