A reminder about the workshop I'm teaching tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16, 10am Pacific, via my good friend Kat Caldwell.
She has lots of great writing workshops by fellow teachers that will help you hone your storytelling skills. I mention those below.
My goal is to help you edit your fiction so that your reader looses themself and becomes the character,
One of the most powerful ways to do that is to use powerful and specific language tailored to how your character experiences the world.
We experience the world through our senses.
But each person sorts and filters the sensory input differently.
And each person makes meaning from that sensory information differently too.
By the time we've finished this workshop I want you to have a draft of your POV character's unique sensory palette and how that affects how they perceive, make meaning, and behave.
Immersive Fiction: Write with the 21 Senses

No, that's not a typo! There are more than 5 senses!)
