Hope your writing is going well. I've written about 7,500 words of backstory in preparation for diving into edits of my 4-book series. I've also nearly finished Lynn Johnston's character arc class and gotten clarity on my main character's 4-book arc.
I love it when clarity comes, but I notice it only comes when I'm working on the story via writing.
Writing is how a lot of writers think, and my primary way to get unstuck.
My secondary way to get unstuck is to talk it out with a good listener. Then I get clear enough to go back to the writing.

Today is the 11th anniversary of my business helping writers. I chose July 14th to file for a city business license on purpose, as I'm a Francophile and have lived in France twice. (Paris, to be exact). July 14th is Bastille Day, France's Independence Day. Starting my own business was a strong step toward freedom and independence.
