Subject: Discover a Treasure and Talent and Time to Play for Peace

It's Time to Play

Have you made time in your daily routine to dedicate to PLAYING?

Whether its doodling on a scratch pad, clicking on the computer screen to spin the wheel, wielding a ping pong paddle -- or -- "playing" piano in the parlor, taking time to be curious and active in play can certainly bring joy to your life.

Through the years, I've met many friends and colleagues through playing --music.  There's something magical and memorable about music.

January 15th, you have the opportunity to meet Kathy Clark, my college roommate.  Kathy finalized her Bachelors in English but a few years later, began working in Social Services where she continued for nearly 35 years.

Both Kathy's and my careers, and location, changed – but our friendship remained.

It’s no mystery to me that our appreciation for music built and bonded our friendship for over 40 years! While chatting on the phone last month, Kathy and I circled ‘round to the topic of music. Kathy’s journalistic description prompted me to ask her to be my next podcast guest and share her story of how she decided to play piano.

Our past is part of the reason we choose to do anything.  Our past holds a space so we can build a bridge in our brain to create a future with revised reflections and create constructive solutions for our future.
