Subject: 2 Days: Dare to Draw - Sharpen your Pencil and Inner Vision

"Sight is what you see with your eyes. Vision is what you see with your mind."   Robert Kiyosaki

I invite you to sharpen your mind's eye.

Yes. It's a Dare to Draw!

You know there's a lot of chatter about creativity and yet so few people take a chance to learn a skill that lasts a lifetime and can be as easy (and safer) than riding a bike.

You are invited! Join me, and finally learn to draw! Even if you've never tried your hands at drawing -- here's your chance. Register here.

Or if you're already skilled with a pencil, and want a refresher. Here's a chance to join a community of creative folks to get your inquisitive mind back on track.
I’m Martha Pineno – and I have a solution. A solution that does not fit in the standard box of care and healing methods. Join me and learn to DRAW -- I dare you . . .

Ignite your imagination so you can find fulfillment through self-expression.
Join me Tuesday March 30 & Wednesday March 31 @ 7:00 pm (et) for an informative presentation where you see, and learn how to draw -- eyes!

Are eyes the portal to the soul? That's for another program . . . But for this month, get ready to:

1. Learn the 3 positions of the human eye in portrait drawing
2. Discover drawing techniques that work effectively to represent an eye
3. Draw an eye that looks realistic with minimal effort

Let's look at the 3 stages we go through to learn about drawing . . .

1. Drooling -- this is where you look at a beautifully crafted, skillfully executed piece of artwork (aka drawing) ... and "drool" over the brilliance of line, texture, accuracy, shading - and say to yourself "how did they do that?" "that is remarkable!" "I wish I could draw like that ..." "I can't even draw a straight line!" "If only I had been born with that talent :( " You close your jaw, quickly.

2. Drawling -- this is when you look at a well-crafted, graphite picture and confess your undeniable love for the arts and all art does to enhance your life and the life of others, but you keep saying repeatedly -- getting slower and slower in your defense -- that you will never be able to draw as well as that person. Their pencil has magic powers. You know you want the chance, but it passes you by, slowly, but surely.

3. Drawing -- this is the moment you decide to register for a class with a legitimately trained artist/teacher. Then, you attend all the training sessions, practice (a lot) on your own till you improve to the level of skill and confidence. Pick up a pencil, pen, marker, charcoal, stick, crayon - and find ANY surface to mark with your tool -- and there it is -- just like magic. But you know it wasn't an instant twitch-of-the-nose or magic wand trick. You did the work to accomplish the task. Here is a masterpiece that YOU created -- with guidance and training -- and it shows. You won the dare, and learned to DRAW!

Let's be curious together,

~ Marti
