Have you ever felt that fear of being fired from your job?
Recently, a friend of mine was having problems at work…
He’s been what anyone would call a dedicated hard worker for over 11 years in the company, but…
…a temporary superior has unfairly accused him of not following procedures…
He wrote me, and I could see how fear had taken over him…
I metaphorically ‘slapped’ him with questions like:
“do you really need them?”
“do you think you wouldn’t be able to find another job or do something else in your life?”
“look at your own CV man, you are worth much more than what they give you credit for.”
That’s probably true about you too…
You see, most of us, after a few years doing the same job for the same company, start suffering from what I call the dependency syndrome.
For the same reason we search for a job in the first place, safety.
But at the same time, how safe are we, working the same job for and for the same company all our lives only to retire 40% poorer than what we’ve lived.
And constantly fearing losing this job.
You call that safety?
I don’t! Not anymore!
When I felt my friend was feeling more confident, less dependent of his job, when he felt that his job wasn’t his life…
I told him to go and create an account at The Wealthy Affiliate to try and forget what was happening and at the same time, maybe start something to prove to himself there were plenty of other things he could do to generate an income.
He did create an account… I mean… It literally takes less than 30 seconds…
But he didn’t even watch the first video, which is what I intended.
I thought I was helping but… his head wasn’t in it.

before you know it, you have a website and can even start making some money out of it, without spending a cent and no special skills whatsoever.
My friend thanked me for the crude awakening and helping him see that he could achieve much more than just being stuck to that job for the rest of his life and told me today that he’s going to try out the WA training.
I sincerely hope he does, I know he can achieve great things!

Living in fear is not living at all…
