This little Felt Stars Christmas Tree has ten stars, nine green and one yellow separated by beads for spacers. It's a simple little tree, but you can decorate its many "limbs" with a variety of embellishments from sequins to earrings to necklaces to whatever your creativity desires.

The Joyful Star Ornament uses three different colors of paper. This example used simple red, green and goldenrod printer paper for a colorful version. Use foil paper in silver and blues for an elegant version or how about gold foil with red and green. The options are almost endless.

This Folded Heart Ornament is not just for the upcoming holidays. It would be a fun Valentine's Day decoration in red and white. Or, how about a baby shower in pastels of blue, pink, yellow and green. Or how about gold for a golden anniversary or white for a wedding shower. Just fun.

Now, for some real whimsy! Just felt, yarn and glue along with the funEZ pattern become this Easy Felt Santa Claus Ornament with his googly (is that a word?) eyes and funky beard. This would be a great "grands" project for grandparents and grandchildren.

Now, to just pretty and elegant. Isn't this little Tulle and Chenille Christmas Tree beautiful? It may look difficult, but it's much easier and less expensive than it looks. Use it on a tablescape, in an office, maybe a nursing home or anywhere that a small tree could add sparkle and smiles during the holiday season.

I call this the Woodsprite's Tree. It's handmade hairpin lace in green and gold yarn handstitched to a leafy patterned, dark green background fabric. An over and under Celtic design forms the tree shape. It's available from Knots and Niceties on etsy.
