Subject: Yes, you can meditate

Discover why meditation is so powerful and how to make it work for you (bonus: you don't have to make your mind go blank).

Do all the benefits of meditation sound too good to be true? Are there too many thoughts inside your head for meditation to work for you? Do you think you're not woo enough for meditation to be effective for you?

If you don’t already meditate regularly, I’m betting at least one of the above applies to you Friend.

Until about 5 years ago, I was one of those people too.

My reasons? Not woo enough.

[After all, I can't help but roll my eyes anytime someone claims to have “manifested” their dream life or yammers on about the law of attraction.]

And, although I recognized meditation probably had some benefits, I figured they were overblown and only available if you dedicated lots of time (I didn’t have) to it.

How wrong I was.

Meditation is scientifically proven to slow down your body’s stress response and improve cognitive thinking (which has a huge ripple effect on your awareness, decision-making and ability to be present).

And guess what? You can effectively meditate in just a few minutes and DON'T have to make your mind go blank (that last one was a huge relief to me).

Anyone can meditate. My hope is that you give it a shot.

Learn more about meditation's benefits - and how to get started - on today's Life & Law Podcast with guest expert Lexlee Overton >>>here.

Lexlee is a lawyer who ended up in the ER thanks to stress and anxiety.

After being told to forever medicate to manage her physical symptoms, she decided to take a different path through meditation. And now she helps lawyers reduce stress and anxiety through meditation.

XO,

Heather

P.S. Lexlee will show you how easy it is to meditate with a short (less than two-minute) guided meditation. Listen >>>here now.
