Subject: Want to be a better leader?

Most people say they want to be better leaders. Dig deeper and you quickly realize that’s not quite right.

What they really want is to be perceived as good leaders.

Here’s the deal…

Becoming a better leader requires you to be vulnerable and is a constant work-in-progress (not a destination).

Most of us don’t think of it that way, and so we don’t really understand what being a good leader means.

And we also gloss right over the many reasons for wanting to be a good leader in the first place.

Because it’s not just about how you’re perceived. Or about how much money you could make.

Good leadership is mostly about the impact you can make on others.
