Subject: Too happy (is there such a thing)?

When I was in college I once got a date because of how 'happy' I was every morning (I think the exact word was "spunky", but I've never loved being called that).

Little did he know that I turn into a pumpkin at 9pm. ;-)

For a long time, I've heard how annoyingly positive I can be.  I've even been told that I can be too happy.

Although this is something I definitely wasn't born with (I've worked hard to cultivate a grateful mindset over many years), I confess it's true.

But I'm not going to apologize for it.  Instead I'm here to convince you to become the same way. . . Because you can.

Here in the United States, it's Thanksgiving. That means that many of us are proactively trying to be thankful.  But it shouldn't be limited to an annual thing (or to those only living in the United States).

Practicing gratitude is a powerful way to REWIRE your mind for happiness.

And the truth is that no matter what's going on in your life or the world, you can ALWAYS find something to be grateful for. Even when life feels off-track or you don't feel like being grateful.

  • The science-backed benefits of regularly practicing gratitude,
  • How gratitude rewires your brain (and hence changes your outlook on life),
  • Common misconceptions about expressing gratitude, and
  • 5 simple ways to start practicing gratitude now.
This year has brought with it plenty of sorrow and hardship for me and my family.  We took a financial hit due to the pandemic, got the virus (and had to quarantine over the July 4th holiday), and (worst of all) lost 2 family members.

Yet I choose to be thankful for. . .
  • the memory of my brother playing football with my boys when we last hosted Thanksgiving,
  • all 8 of the home-made Santa's that are now decorating my house (courtesy of my late mother-in-law),
  • what I learned about my youngest son's learning style while struggling to teach him last Spring,
  • my 15-year old's independence (which has kept him on track in school despite all that's been going on this year),
  • what I learned about how fear (of what others will think and of failure) has been holding me back (that I'll soon be sharing with you),
Now it's your turn, Friend.  Make a list of things you're grateful for. . . in this moment, today, this week and even for this year.  I promise that it will be powerful.

Finally, as a special thank you, I'm offering a FREE Inside-Out Success Strategy Session to the first 5 people who sign up.  This is your chance to uncover what's getting in your way from creating the life you want (with tangible tips from me on how to start moving forward).

NOTE: this is 100% pure coaching + strategy based on what you need right now (promotion-free).  It's my gift to you.

But spots are limited and it's a time sensitive offer (so grab your spot NOW).

XO,

Heather

P.S. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of all the sales emails (and dreading how many will be coming over the next week). Because they so often feel phony to me, I'm instead offering you FREE coaching as my gift of gratitude.
