| | Are you a holiday perfectionist?
You know, someone who's always trying to create the "perfect" Christmas (or other holiday) experience (whatever that means) - all while making yourself miserable and draining the joy right out of you, your family, and your holiday.
I have a confession to make: until recently, I was a holiday perfectionist. And I drove myself (and my poor husband) crazy as a result.
Today's post is all about holiday perfectionism - what it is, why it's so exhausting, why you need to let holiday perfectionism go, and how to let it go. It's time to rediscover the joy of the holiday season and ditch the shackles of perfectionism that are holding you down.
So, hop on over to the blog and read all about the Confessions of a Holiday Perfectionist.
Now, if you're a long-time reader of my blog, you may be having a bit of déjà vu. I wrote about this topic once before - so you're NOT crazy. But I've re-written and upgraded my original post, so don't skip it.
Finally, I ask you to do me and someone you know a favor. Send this article to one person you know that would benefit from it. We all know at least one person who suffers from holiday perfectionism (or even perfectionism in general). If you can help them let go of it (even if just a little bit), you'll know that you've helped to make their holidays a bit brighter.
With much love,
|

P.S. if you missed last week's article, the Power of Gratitude, go read it now. It's an important message any time of year - but especially in the hustle and bustle of the year-end holiday season (so don't miss it).
