Subject: How to be disgustingly happy

My sister got married this past weekend, giving me a chance to do one of my favorite things. . . to observe people.

And what I observed was interesting.  Although everyone laughed and smiled at some point (some of us even cried happy tears), not everyone was truly happy.

Some people gave themselves away by drinking too much (as their only way to feel good).  Others showed jealousy and resentment though their body language.

And some people chose to complain incessantly about the things that went wrong, grudges with other people and/or how hot it was (the wedding was outdoors in Texas).

This reminded me of how important it is to understand what happiness is.  Because here's the thing. . . happiness is a choice that only you can make for yourself.

And if you want to be happy, then you need to understand what it even is.

The good news is that I discussed this very thing recently on the Be Awesome Podcast. And the interview went live last week.

Listen here to this candid, powerful conversation around how to redefine happiness and what it means for YOUR life here. [Want to listen on iTunes? Go here.]

If you're often feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed and/or fearful around all that's going on in the world and your life, then you NEED to listen to this podcast.

Because although you don't want to ignore these things, they don't have to take over your life either.

You can still be a happy person regardless of all the crazy that goes on in the world, Friend.

I Need Your Help

Last week I mentioned that I've been thinking about creating a membership specifically for burnt-out, busy professionals who want to:
  • rewire your mind to be present, growth-oriented and confident,
  • reconnect to the things that give you joy and passion, and
  • realign your life around YOUR priorities so that you can be truly happy.
But I need to know whether this is of interest to you.

So, if you haven't already, can you PLEASE fill out this simple, quick survey about it? It will only take a minute of your time.

NOTE: it's okay if this isn't of interest to you.  I just need to know (so please fill it out regardless).

If you need more information around the proposed membership, go here for a quick recap.

I truly appreciate your input, so thank you in advance!

XO,

Heather
