Subject: How far are you willing to go, Friend?

Am I making a BIG mistake? What if I'm wrong? Will this decision be a total bust? Will I regret this?

That's my inner voice any time I make a big decision, such as when I...
  • chose where to go to law school,
  • accepted my first law firm offer,
  • left my first firm for a different one (and very different practice),
  • made the decision to start my coaching/consulting practice, and
  • hired my first 1:1 business coach (the $$ was scary).
And I know I'm not alone. [You do this too, right?]

This might surprise you, but I want you to LISTEN to that voice. It's there for a reason and is meant to help you think things through.

But put it into context by reminding yourself that your path to success isn't linear. It requires you to learn along the way. So, don't just listen to the voice...

Counter it. Make appropriate plans. And then go all-in on your decision.

Sometimes you'll make mistakes or realize later that you made the wrong choice - which is 100% okay because you can course correct.

Living (truly living) is really just a series of course corrections. That's how you grow as a human being (and end up better off in the long-run).

The worst thing you can do is to allow the voice to hold you back from fulfilling your true potential.

Go all-in on life, Friend. Don't hold yourself back.

XO,

Heather

P.S. Are you an attorney (or other service professional) struggling to grow your business? You probably need to niche down, making your inner voice go into hyper-drive. Which is why I'm addressing it this week on the podcast. Listen to Niching Down To Build Up >>> here.
