I want control (said a client last week).
This particular person wants more control over organizational and policy decisions at her work.
But I could replace her with almost any client because wanting more control is common (definitely among attorneys, probably among most high-achievers).
What about you, Friend?
How often do you find yourself wanting and/or wishing for more control over your time, work, business, health, relationships, and/or general life?
You probably think I'm going to tell you that your focus should be on you - and you alone - because it's the only thing you actually have control over.
I'm not.
I want you to consider letting go of wanting control altogether. Control is rooted in fear. It's also a lot of (exhausting) work.
Letting go of control is the foundation to actual happiness. And also for achieving more (of what you want).
