If you’re considering ELEVATE but are thinking…
I don’t have the time right now.
I’m not sure I’m ready for this yet.
I don’t know if I have the bandwidth for the “hard work” involved.
It’s a lot of money, what kind of guarantees can you give me?
I’ll do this on my own first and then come back if it doesn’t work.
Listen up because I’m here to address each one.
“I don’t have the time to commit right now.”
I’m known for my bluntness, so here goes…You make time for the things you care about.
Time to answer a simple (but hard to answer) question:
If building a profitable, fulfilling practice is top of the list, you won’t ever have it if you don’t first make the time for building it (whether it’s through ELEVATE or something else).
ELEVATE is designed to help you build the foundational skills and habits you need to save you time and energy in the future. And have you considered how much time you DO need (we tend to assume it will take more time than necessary)?
“Not sure I’m ready for this yet.”
I understand how this feels (as I’ve been there several times). Don’t confuse discomfort with not being ready. Building your own business is uncomfortable because it’s vulnerable.
Yet it’s worth it.
Don’t just take my word for it, listen to past Mastermind member Keron who said “The mastermind is a necessary endeavor for learning who you really are as a professional.”
Are you a partner or shareholder in a law firm wanting business growth?
Are you a senior or of counsel attorney wanting to show you can bring in your own business so you can be promoted to partnership?
Do you have a book that you would like to grow exponentially?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above, you're ready.
“I don’t know if I have the bandwidth for the hard work involved.”
Building your business takes hard work. But it’s also hard work to not have:
Your mind doesn’t like work (or change). And so, it wants to convince you that it’s easier to keep going as-is without giving much thought to the hard work involved in that.
Get clear around the hard work of going along as-is so you can ask yourself which “hard” you prefer (and know for certain it’s the right answer).
What guarantees can you give me?
The truth is that there’s no magic bullet. Your results are dependent on the work you put in.
While I can’t guarantee specific results, what I can promise is that I’m 100% committed to you and will always bring my best to our coaching.
But know that my framework is proven. Not only has it worked for past mastermind members but it has worked for my 1:1 business clients too (who pay $7,500+ to work with me).
Is your business where you want it to be?
Do you have a clear roadmap for how to get it to where you want it?
Are you making the money you want?
Do you feel comfortable and confident when marketing, networking and selling?
If the answer is “no” to any/all of the above, ask whether you can afford NOT to join.
I’d rather put my money on a coach and attorney who built a multi-million dollar law practice of her own and helps her clients do the same using a proven framework vs. hoping “IT” happens on its own.
“I’ll try this on my own first, and will come back next year if it doesn’t work.”
First, how long have you been doing this on your own? Maybe it’s time to get some help.
If you’re early in the process, ask whether it would really be better to go solo versus having help from an expert (who has been in your shoes and prevailed).
I know that voice inside your head is telling you it’s ridiculous to need help.
Remember: your inner voice doesn’t like change and is trying to convince you to stay static. And it is ego-driven (and doesn’t want to admit that you might want help).
Thinking isn’t doing. The mastermind is built to help you take regular intentional action so you actually achieve the things you want in your business.
Giving it to you straight…
These objections, while sounding logical, have your business potential in a chokehold.
I’m talking about…
The lawyer who spends a lot of time at networking events without ever turning prospects into actual clients (convincing yourself it’s because you’re introverted even though introverts make excellent networkers).
The lawyer with (irregular) clients who always want discounted rates and is caught in the feast-or-famine cycle, worrying about paying your team and bills.
The young partner who is discouraged you’ll never have the time to build your own book of business as you struggle to keep up with the demands of other people’s clients.
The answer? Unsubscribe from the “push harder, work more” mantra and start being more strategic.
ELEVATE will help you unlock this kind of strategic vision, business growth and confidence.
I get that you’ve already got an idea of all the things you could be doing. You’ve even tried some of them.
The difference is that within ELEVATE you’ll learn the best strategies for you to maximize ROI without wasting your time. Plus, you’ll be supported to stay accountable and motivated for consistency.
You don’t have to take my word for it. Take their word for it...
