Ever wonder why we keep talking about how to achieve work life balance, yet few people ever really find it?

If you're like most high-achievers, then you're more stressed and busy than ever.  And not exactly feeling "balanced".

What if part of the problem is that work life balance, as it's currently defined, isn't really possible?  And since we're not defining it properly, all the typical "solutions" don't solve what's really going on.

I recently had the honor and privilege of speaking to some high-achieving and fabulous women at both the No Mean Girls Annual Conference and to a group of women at the Dallas location of Jackson and Walker.

What they wanted was a speech about work life balance. What they got was a bit different than the typical work life balance discussion.  Because it's not about balance.

I received so many "thank you's" for being real about the whole work life balance thing that I decided to turn some of what I talked about into an article.

For how to redefine work life balance so that you can finally find what you're looking for, go read What Work Life Balance Means When You're Used to a High-Stress Lifestyle.

It's time to ditch the overly busy life of chronic stress, don't you think?  This is the starting point for how to do that.

All my best,

P.S.  If you're tired of hearing the same stuff about how to find "balance" and are convinced that it's not possible, I highly recommend you read today's article.  You'll learn why the typical definition doesn't work and how to rethink what work life balance means (so you can actually start creating some balance in your life).
