Subject: #1 thing you need to know (especially now)

If you're like me, you're tired of hearing and talking about COVID-19 (and even more tired of how it's impacting your life).

Right now, we're under a shelter-in-place order.  And I'm trying to find ways to serve my clients, help my audience and run my business while acting as part-time school teacher, gym instructor and counselor to my 2 boys.

Right now, life is a struggle.

Uncertainty Is the Norm

I feel a lot like I did after my breast cancer diagnosis. Uncertain.  A bit fearful.  Worried.

I remember thinking that once I got through treatment things would go back to normal (and that I wouldn't feel so uncertain or not in control).  But that day never came.

In times like these, the truth is unveiled. . .
  • Life isn't all ease and flow (no matter what the self-help gurus promise).
  • Uncertainty is the norm.
  • You don't have control over much of what you thought you did.
  • Struggle is a natural part of life.
But that doesn't mean that you must live in fear.

How To Stay Confident Through Struggle

It's important to remember that struggle makes you into who you are. It's where you learn life's biggest (and best) lessons.

And just because you don't have control over much in life, you do have control over YOU.  Taking control is about 1 thing: choosing.

You can choose to take control of things like:
  • Mindset, perspective, attitude (or whatever you want to call it).
  • Daily routines and rituals.
  • Living your values.
  • Acting despite fears (called courage).
  • Compassion + understanding.
And I'm here to tell you that it's time to choose, Friend.

Take control of what you can.  Let go of the rest.

Will you still struggle?  Of course.  You'll even feel some worry, stress and fear.

But as you make that choice (and continue on), you'll realize that you're okay despite your struggles.  Fears will go down.  You'll even start to enjoy more of life.

Weekly Mindset Mastery Tips + Tools

My promise to you is to support you to make the choice for yourself during this unprecedented time.

Every Wednesday at 8:30 AM CST / 9:30 AM EST, I'll be holding a short (15 minutes or less) virtual mindset mastery training session.

After the training is over, I'll open it up to Q&A.

This week's training will give you three tips for how to feel more in control and certain (even in uncertain times).

You don't have to join every meeting (although I hope that you do). But you do need to register so that you can save all the meetings into your calendar and get the dial-in instructions.

15 minutes of your time to start taking back some control and feel less anxious.  The choice is yours.

I hope to see you tomorrow.

XO,

Heather
P.S.  Give me just 15 minutes per week to feel calmer, more confident and emotionally in control.  Register for the Weekly Mindset Mastery training sessions here
